P.S. I must point out that this really was a unique wedding. Nina chose to wear a dress from the 50’s and had her wedding reception held in an ancient ballroom that must have been at least 300 years old.

Who Said Guys Can’t Cook?

Not that long ago I went out and bought a bunch of food, the only problem remaining was that I had to learn how to cook. Well after several days of cooking I have come to realize that it’s just like art. Once you learn the basics, you just let your imagination take over. Pictured above is one of my first creations, a taste bud tantalizing salad featuring Roma tomatoes, chipotle cheese, and Fresh Gourmet Butter & Garlic Croutons. Sprinkled with some grated parmesan cheese and topped with Asian Toasted Sesame dressing, this salad was delicious!

Today our cousin George gave us a tour of Boston, one of the oldest cities in the United States. We saw many historic sites including the church where Paul Revere first hung two lights to indicate the British where coming by sea and the very balcony from which the declaration of independence was first read. In the evening we had an informal dinner with the parents of my cousins fiance. It was interesting to learn that Jeff, my cousin’s soon-to-be father in law is an astronaut who spent a total of over a year in space.

In the morning we where greeted by the tantalizing smell of my wonderful aunt Natasha’s cooking. After an amazing breakfast my brother and I spent the day hanging out with the coolest cousins ever, George and Nina. We where provided with a private tour of the city of Providence and Newport as well as the Linden Place and the Newport mansions. In the evening we had yet another wonderful dinner during which our aunt Lyuba from Moscow and aunt Natasha shared various stories about our extended families… As it turns out my dad used to be quite a troublemaker in his youth lol.
